What a weird weekend. I was bitching last week, when I found out that a 2nd series of a particular anime trading figures were being released. I bitched and moaned that they go for too much on ebay, and i would probably never see them. Then, SDCC shows me that not only are they releasing BOTH series here, at a TBD date, but they show me the first pics of the 6-inch fig line as well.

And for the past couple months I have been bitching about BestBuy's anime DVD prices. They all used to be 22.99, and that was cheaper than anyone. All of a sudden, prices went up. They were anything from 26.99 to 29.99 to 34.99. And those were the LOW prices. So this weekend I go to BestBuy, and not only are prices back down, but LOWER than before. I saw about 10 things that I have been wanting but putting off for 19.99, and 2 or 3 discs for 18.99. I almost shat myself.

I should start complaining about never winning the lottery or having a girlfriend...

Yeah, they look great. And I figured when I heard about them we'd get Ed & Al only, but to my surprise they are releasing 3 figs. Ed, Al, AND Winry. And they all look great. My only gripe is Al's size. He's not much taller than the others. Would have been nice if he was in scale.

You should try www.deepdiscountdvd.com for anime. They have the cheapest prices I've seen online. Plus free shipping on everything. Shipping is by media mail, so it's good if you're not in a rush.

I pre-ordered Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Vol. 1 awhile ago during their 20% off sale for $13 shipped. Doesn't come out til tomorrow, but they shipped it last Tuesday, so it will arrive on relase date.
